Ivara Arcuata Skin & Helmet

Doesn't look Ivara
Looks more like a Mirage or Nyx item.

Ivara has a different aesthetic to her and this isn't it. Sorry.

I completely agree with this statement. It's just the helmet, really.

The skin is fine!!!! The detail work on it and the alternate patterns could make it interesting/fun to color!! :)

I love the skin, but like stated above, the helmet gives off a different feel that makes me not like it (its probably the cuz the "fins" of her helmet look like mirage's, and the length reminds me of nyx) . ofc I'd still buy the skin, but I'd probably opt out of equipping the helm and probably use the the default ivara helm. Other than that, I love this skin, very beautiful! ^_^ upvoted~

The helmet makes her seem like a tank...which she most definately is not. She's squishy as hell, hence she relies on stealth and her cc to work. The theme that it's like a hard shell or exoskeleton is fine, it'd be cool to see something like that, but this is the wrong execution for a very squishy frame like Ivara. Something more slender and insectoid would fit a lot better, and still go along with a sturdier-looking aesthetic.

The helmet is better fit for Mirage, shape-wise anyway, and even then it's too bulky and sturdy looking...

It's a shame really, the skin is otherwise very well-made.

I love it, but DE probably won't accept it. Judging by Ivara's alt helms, this skin is way too cool to be Ivara

its intresting that you used glowing sights for her but only from far away do i feel i truely apreicate your work. in close up the i shall call them "eyes" are bulging out alittle and the overall shape feels like a dog or somthing else entirely. try to remain sleek, elegant, and decisively deadly in future projects for her. since your already skilled in texturing once you figure out a themed design im sure youll do great, as a fellow artist i hope you do well from this critque.

Hey guys; thanks for the critiques; it's definetively helpful on sorting out what everyone likes and what not; and what could work and what not.
As stated previously I was trying to propose an alternative to the very cloth-themed helmet she has; tried to utilize shapes she already had on her body and make a helmet design out of it.

While It's definetively up to the DE to decide whatever fits and what not; i really appreciate you guys taking the time to write down your thoughts about it; and they will be taken in consideration for future reworks and of course, new concepts.

I actually like this a lot. It gives a Loki kind of vibe for me or some sort of infiltrator with its head being a large sensory type which is great since Ivara is an analyst. What I like is that it switches up Ivara by quiet a bit. The helmet is obviously an option so if people only wanna use it, or only wanna use the body they can. I think it looks great together and is worth spending the money on, what I like about skins is that it can change the vibe of the original frame. If I wanted a standard Ivara I'd just use the standard Ivara skin or wait for an Immortal print. More of stuff like this pls.

I like the helmet, I do think it's great, but I honestly feel like it just doesn't fit Ivara. The skin however is amazing and I'd love to see it with her loxli helm.

I also looked into some of your other work and I think it's well made. looking forward to more content from you

I much prefer this look, not looking like ivara is one of the things I like about this skin. I say we have too many sames in warframe, I welcome this radical change.

i think it look like more than banshee
Inkly 6 Feb, 2017 @ 11:46pm
I love it!
As an Ivara main it looks plenty Ivara, even if the helmet is just a little different from the norm.

Cyresto 7 Feb, 2017 @ 2:03am
Probly is the helmet making you think that, I see it aswell to a degree, but that aside it has all the key points that Ivaras aesthetic has.
Not every alt helm will follow the same style as the stock helmet anyway, that's what makes them alt.
Keep up the great work Stench.

Your welcome, go back and look at what Ivara is, the description of what she does and perhaps this will give you a better start at how that helment could be shaped. Mysterous is a keyword in my oppion when it comes to Ivara

You're right, but i like this skin far better than her default skin. She looks ok, but the majority of her body is tinted in such a way that you cannot get dark colors on those portions, even when applying solid black. I've always despised this, so a new skin is always welcome. Besides, this looks incredible! And who cares if it doesnt look quite like her style? Do the Graxx skins even look Tenno at all? No, but that's not really important.
Aiz 9 Feb, 2017 @ 2:07am
I agree with the above statement. "Who cares". The tenno could find Grineer technology fascinating or they could find the mentioned Warframes fashionable, but prefer the uses of Ivara. It's not as if it's changing the very lore of Ivara to have this skin or helmet.
