Oh, this thing is wonderous. I definitely understand the feel of it, and the blade's size. I hate swinging around the normal galatine, that thing doesn't even feel like a sword, just some hexagonal pole with a stupid tangle of wire over the hilt that seems like it's lavishly ornamental.

The width of the blade is good (measuring edge to edge), but the thickness (flat to flat) might benefit from a trim. The edge of the blade itself; the way the sharpened portions have that gleam to them? I think that should be more pronounced at the lower section of the blade. When you're using the galatine (and it's not on your back), you're probably going to be looking at the hilt and the middle of the blade more than the tip.

The pommel is excellent. The hilt of the guard is "warframey" enough that it feels in-universe. Only thing is, though, is that the hilt and the pommel don't match. The style for the pommel is almost like a Lotus-shape, but the hilt is a lot like a repurposed standard galatine. . . thing is. The way the outermost pieces of the hilt have barbs and point back towards the handle? I think you should change that a little. Instead of those two pieces closing inward, see what they look like when they're bending outward. Mirror the pommel's curve outwards, and I think it'd be dashing.

Even as-is, however, I would still buy this with real money.

The name is very Warframey too.
