Crazy starter planet! Crazy crystal boss. First playthrough. Will the next bosses be impossible????
I am not sure if this is intended. I absolutely love hard games. I am a huge fan of dark souls! I want to know if pretty much everything is supposed to 1 shot you. so far nothing i have done will help me survive. i have 90 hp and i have this nightmare edition installed an armor scaling installed also. those are the only mods outside of FU.,

To sum up my discussion the first boss (crystal boss) Took me forever to complete becuase the beams do about 200 damage. I ended up just using a gun and standing off to the right side of boss, not going for the levers becuase it was almost always getting me killed. I have dash and jump for the boss fight to! It took me 20 deaths to give up trying the inteded way by using levers so i just focused more on not getting hit by beams and using a gun. It was fun and all but i am scared of the next bosses lol will i get to a boss that i cant possibly beat becuase of this mod?

First of all, don't use alternate armor scale with Nightmare Edition. It isn't breaking your game, but it is being completely overwritten making it a redundent addition.

When you say this is your first play through, do you mean of the game? This mod isn't meant for your very first playthrough, but your character is now stuck with it anyways. The beams have a simple pattern and are easilly avoided, you simply have to wait for them to go away. You are not supposed to tank those hits.

The Erchius Horror is, ironically, the boss with the most health in the game (in vanilla, it dosn't even take damage from hand held weapons). The other bosses will have to be fought with your hand held weapons, but they'll have less health and therfore will die quicker.

Yes Laugh Out Loud, It really is my first play through. I am so glad i am using nightmare addition because even though the game is really really hard as you get more gear it actualy is alot of fun! Man i wish you had a patron or some other form of patronage i would gladly donate.

Also thanks for the reply, I actually started a new game without any mods just to try the boss in normal mode and i could tank 5 hits without dying, a suggestion for the boss was actualy to have bandages and salves equiped for the fight :P

in short please tell me if you have a patron or something, i ended up deleting my standard game because its not even challenging using your mods makes this game so much better!@

I don't have a patron or anything of the sort. I don't really do enough to have one.
