A mermaid would also be kinda weird considering the entire game pretty much takes place on land.
So... for my point of view.
Kitsunes, Dullahan, Goblin, Lamias, Alraune, Arachne are some of the most neededs.
Kitsunes are the cute foxgirls with his fluffy tails :3
Dullahan are undead knights so they will be good at combat (not like dragongirl but not far behind)
Goblins... Well i think almost everyone know about them (Normally male, but there are females too and some pretty ones) they have a bigger variant called hobgoblin... Not very smart but kinda strong in numbers (except hobgoblins which are in the level of dullahans)
Lamias, our most loved snake tail girls, they usually are good with magic (but i dont think we will se that here) and good to in restrict enemies with her tail and break her bones if she want.
Alraune is a plant based monstergirl. Most of them in their early stages live in a single place witouth being able to move. But high level ones, can leave their flower behind and start preying on their own with his more complete humaoid form. They produce nectar wich is very rich in nutrients and its well known as an afrodisiac too.
And the Arachne half human, half spider, produce a really strong silk and are good making traps to catch their prey. Some are even venomus making them kinda problematic.
I dont think mermaids should work in rimworld... They are water based creatures. They can live in ground too. But they will be a lot slower than in water.
2, Dullahans: Strong, vulnerable to Heat. They could also be Armored (slow, but good health), or "Not Armored, but not naked".
3, Goblins/Hobgoblins: Basically your chinchilla (or hamster) death squad but monstergirl.
4, Lamia: Good Resistance to Heat, can destroy Bones in Limbs, and sometimes crush the Head (of victim of course).
5, Alraune: In younger years, they will be unable to move. But when they are older, they'll be able to move around (leaving a Flower in the place that they were at). They will produce a nectar which can be eaten for a good amount of nutrients, and also act as a Fertility Booster (Birds and the Bees mod compatibility). You could also process it into a Honey, which gives you more nutrients, and has a excellent Fertility Boost (both a BatB mod compat, and a Apini Race compat/any other Honey making mod compat).
6, Arachne: Fastest Monstergirl in the Rims, produces a strong and fine silk that can be used to make traps of Arachne Design.
6.5, Poisonous Arachne: Some Arachne cannot produce silk, but as there's a downside, there's going to be a upside. Said upside is the fact that said Arachne produce a Venom which is incredibly effective at killing living beings. They are rare though, but if you find one, then you're going to have a fun day with that Arache.
7, Mermaids: They would be difficult to implement, as Rimworld's primary race is the Human Race. But as an ability, it could be that a Colonist could have a Mood Boost when they do anything to a Mermaid. Or the Colonist might have a Temporary boost to their social skills when they do anything to a Mermaid.
