A detailed and Complete review of this gamemode.
This was done as a discussion thread instead of a comment as it would be easier to read, stand out more, and hopefully not fall under the spam of lenny faces and other stuff that plague every workshop submission.

This gamemode, for all of the love, heart, and attention put into it, and even with the frequent updates, is a sadly flawed affair. Before i start on the negative, i will talk about the postitives first.

Outside of a few bugs the creator is still working on fixing, the gamemode is surprisingly bug free and solid. The concept, while slightly convoluted on paper, is relatively easy to grasp once you start playing. Its a fun, unique take on a mutiplayer experience based around SCP: Containment breach, and will almost certainly entertain you once you get the hand of it for a short while.

Pretty much everything about the core mechanics are well done, from the keycards to the roles. The only issues I can really bring up here are armor vests being solid when dropped, which leads to numberous exploits and map breaking glitches, and scp-457, the burning man, being by far the weakest of all of the scps. Out of these, the latter is a balance issue that will hopefully be worked on as the gamemode progresses, but the former is a crippling flaw that has no sign of being fixed.

You may be wondering 'but wait, how is this gamemode flawed if you like the core gamemode?". The answer is simple. The two biggest issues this gamemode has BY FAR, are special rounds and the map it uses.

Special rounds in this gamemode are godawful glitchy affairs which tend to piss players off more than anything else, to the point the two most popular servers disabled all of them. The ttt round and assault rounds are just not fun with how the mechanics of the gameplay work(no headshots being the main killer for assault rounds). The ttt round in particular showcases how this gamemode was NOT made to be a full-blown ttt clone, as it does the job horribly. But the WORST round by far has to be the zombie plague round.

Outside of being little more than playing against scp-049's zombies if they had his infection power, this special round loves to glitch out and break servers. For some reason, whenever i seen this special round played all scp-049 zombies from then forth keep the infection properties of the scp-008-2 zombies from the special round, which inevitably breaks the game until a server restart is done. I dont normally hold bugs against a gamemode, let alone one in development, but this bug is so massive I question why the bonus round was even included in such a state.

There IS one special round that exists however that is good, and that is mutiple breaches. Then again, since its basicly the normal gameplay but with no mtf or scientists or chaos, this isn't too surprising.

But by far the NUMBER ONE problem this gamemode has, is the map. I know the creator of this gamemode isn't the same person who made the map, and judging by the map author's rather... dickish behavor, thats not going to change anytime soon, and neither will any balance changes happen anytime soon. But due to this, the gamemode falls apart completely. The map was simply not designed for breach, and this is horribly apparant with one simple aspect of the map.

There is only 1 way to exit from the heavy containment zone into the entrance zone where both gates are located. This one way is a narrow hallway with a telsa gate which has mutiple scps and mtf who spawn on the opposite side. This makes it practically impossible for any D-class to escape the facility, as all the mtf need to do is camp the tesla hallway and the D-class instantly lose. This also leads to scp-173 being rendered nearly impossible to win as, since the same applies to him if the mtf camp there. This also makes being a researcher a piece of cake since there is almost no dangers between them and reaching the escape, to the point i've beaten rounds as researcher before a minute has passed since the round began.

And thats pretty much it. A well made, super fun gamemode ruined by the sole map that it works for having a severe balance flaw that makes an entire role impossible to win at, which also happens to be the most numberous role, and makes another role a piece of cake.

Kanade or Sag, if you read this, i hope your able to get a new map for this gamemode in the future, as the current one just doesn't work. I know this is difficult as there lacks an already made alternative, but without a new map, the gamemode just turns into an unbalanced wreck/disaster. Perhaps try to convince the original creator to do fixes with this gamemode in mind, but I doubt you will have much luck. An entire comment section didn't, so I got low hopes for you being able to do something. Apologies if you took this as insulting, its just kinda how things are. The map is holding back the gamemode, and unless somethings done, this gamemodes going to end up dead.
