I tried setting the blink settings on the server to the following:

br_time_blinkdelay 30
br_time_blink 1

blinkdelay is completely nonfunctional, it stays at 4 seconds no matter what value I set it to. Now if I try to completely disable blink:

br_time_blink 0

It still blinks every 4 seconds, but it can only be seen from the sides of the screen. The blinking is really annoying and hurts my eyes. I'd much rather use an alternative.
