Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Features

does this mod make planets bigger and have more resources(namely minerals)?
ok so i get the modifiers add a bunch of special stuff and ive played 1 playthrough to midgame and done two other tests worlds with it vs 2 test worlds without it surveying 10 years.

What i noticed in my initial playthrough as well as after doing the test starts is that when this mod is active the world sizes all seem to be huge. Like in games with this mod the chance of getting an 18+ sized world seems to be super high with most of my worlds being like 20+. It feels like the size chances are flipped compared to nonmodded instances.

Also even without the new anomolous events adding +~2 to 1-3 resources usually research i still seem to get a lot higher minerals through the systems for reasons idk. Like without the mod most systems have at most 6 of any resource. when using the mod even when i dont get any event popup that adds usually research to the system i still end up with systems that have higher than average minerals especially. Like one system in my longer playthrough had 40 minerals whereas in a normal match systems rarely have like one item at like 10.

Imo some of the modifiers are too strong (both good and bad) but these just add diversity. The huge world sizes and extra minerals seem super op though.

Is this working as intended? Like from the description i can see the different modifiers but like are the worlds all supposed to be huge and there supposed to be a lot more minerals?

Jarod,

I'm glad I'm not the only person to have noticed this!

I went and took a look through the GPMF common\deposits folder, and although there's an evidence difference in the G and V versions, I can't pinpoint exactly what it is that's causing the vastly higher proportion of resource spawns.

Unfortunately, despite having asked around to establish the cause of these effect on both the mod page comments AND in the Stellaris Modding Den, I so far have not received an answer.

I hadn't noticed about the planet sizes, though, until reading your post. Having done so, I'm noticing the same thing as well - most planets are Size 20 or Higher.

Like you, I can't spot anything in the mod description to this. Though disappointing, this unfortunately isn't surprising; many mods in the workshop don't actually list all of the changes, so things like this do crop up.

However I wouldn't mind that in the least if I was able to dive into the mod files directly and create a local/personal patch which toned these features down. So far, despite lots of browsing and searching in the mod's files, and asking in the modding den, I've not been able to figure out the source of either. I'm desperately appealing for the help of someone else who might know on either point.
