Suggestions
If any ideas come to mind, throw 'em this way, and we'll see if they stick. Suggestions can include tech, weapons, armor (not sure how well slime can protect a person), hairstyles (remember to link a reference image to base it off of), palettes, and other things.

Current plans for when I have more time on my hands:
Slime Car
Other type of tenants
Human-like furniture
and eventually Villages.

Honestly, an idea that could work, (and I'm taking a bit of inspiration from the neko mod), is perhaps armor that is based off of human, but with slimey bits. Kinda like how some of the Neko armor looks human, but with tentacles.

Armor bits are currently not in plan though. Alot of people actually told me that slimes do not need armor. There's really no point to it since there's so many armors ingame already. Unless I think of something really estetic to compliment slimes. I'll delay the armor making for a while.

I'm usually too lazy to sprite all the movements, but slime mod does need more clothes. I can't promise when and if. But thank you for the idea.

Perhaps a storage container larger than 16 items that /isn't/ the fridge? Maybe make an altered version of the wallbeds that could hold 64 or 128 items; call it a 'cargo capsule' or something. Hell, for the 128 version, could do a side-oriented version of the teleporter sprite, with some editing.

I already have storages in mind to expand on the merchant update.
Edit: it's on my agenda for next update and will be out when i get time to make them but thank you for your suggestion.

A ship that doesn't look like a giant booger, please. Even something like a human ship with slime details (like the floran ship, kinda) would be fantastic. Also, is there any way to get the slime storage items to work with the Enhanced Storage mod?

No idea about enhanced storage mod, I belive the enhanced storage mod creator needs to patch something in. Just replace shipworld file to get the ship you want if you dont like the hi-tech booger.

I'm planning on redrawing the booger sprite to make it better looking now that I have better understanding of pixel art, however the design itself stays. if you want a ship that's more slime-patchy but normal looking check out ooze race mod's ship. I used that one on slime race before I've joined the team and made the ship.

What about hardened slime coats for armor or clothing. Because it'd just slide off or ooze through them if it was armor or normal clothing, so why not make it some kind of woven material or like... older Slime cores fashioned into armor since like the Slime people can be very ancestorial and conservative?

I already have 2 armors in mind. I'm just too lazy to do sprites for 6 tiers of it atm. Though i need to do at least one before i introduce slime guards.

It wiil be good, if this race have their own intro mission. Look at feln intro mission for example.

For slimes i think this will work: escape from spacestation, when contained fails.

just because 1 mod has that, it doesn't mean all will. I'm leaving default intro mission. That story there is a placeholder from previous mod owner, I litterally know nothing about Space Station 13 that's why I'm not sticking to that link. I do plan to leave a reference somewhere to let people know what game this mod was originally based of. There's going to be a different story in place. Sometime in future I do plan on creating few repeatable missions. But I need to do alot of basic stuff first. And also this mod is alot younger than felin and similar very known race mods. So stuff like that is still far away.
