Instructions on how to make your own real city naming for your own maps
I made a Europe map that is pretty accurate in everything apart from the names of cities as they're random based on the civ that settles them. The maps in YNAMP have a real city naming function that automatically sets the name of a city settled based on its location to the real world city in that location also changing depending on the civilization. I know it will be a lot of work but I am willing to try for my own map. How do you apply real city naming to your own maps?

You can look in the XML for the giant earth map for this, it's all in there

You'll need to add 2 config entries to set up city naming for your map, then create the table with the city positions in XML.

Is your map a mod made with the WorldBuilder alone, or was it made using YnABMC in a lua script format for YnAMP ?

I think you can use YnAMP functions for both type of map, the way to set things would just be slightly different.
