Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Yet (not) Another Maps Pack
Best specification to play Civ 6 Yet (not) Another Maps Pack
At the moment I do play on ASUS Republic of Gamers i7 3630 QM 2,40 GHz; 8 Gb Ram; Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 MX. I am unable to play on the bigest map - crushing when loading, when I play on Giant map 60 civilizations the crashing problem appears after I uncover almost all world so about 300-400 turns. My question is what specification is needed to play all maps, to the game end, with no problem. I am about to buy a new computer nowadays. there are some types, please help me to choise the best or maybe You know something better. It must be a laptop not a PC.

ASUS ROG i7-7700HQ 2,8 GHz - 3,8 GHz; NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 8Gb; 12 RAM
(chippest)

ASUS ROG i7-8750H 2,2 GHz - 4,1 GHz; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6Gb; 16 RAM

Alienware R4 i7-7820HK 2,9 GHz - 3,9 GHz; NVIDIA GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5; 16 RAM
(most expensive)

I currently have i7 6800K, GTX 1080Ti 11gb, 48gb 2133 - Area51 R2, and so far have not been able to play GS on Ludicrous size; however, R&F worked well with many mods. GS bugared it. In the past Fraxis did some fixes. We'll see. I wait to buy Alienware from Dell outlet - in fact anything from Dell I get from outlet. Game is CPU intensive; but, when it comes to larger maps (default maps are too small to be worthwhile IMHO) the video card is key. So I would look at that with high VRAM primarily. Even 4th generation OC i7 works well with 32gb ddr3 memory when using 8gb and above video card.

Hi mate. Check out the MSI GS65 if your after an amazing 15inch gaming laptop. Its what I am running with. The game is smooth as butter for. I do get a late game crash but its because I only have 8Gb of ram which I will upgrade soon.

THX for answers,
As I read in other discusion the Ludicrous map is not ready to play with last game update, so most important now is the problem with Giant map late game crush, is it possible that the not enough RAM is making it ??? If so than I will need to put more RAM to my previous laptop and this may help?

@damianluczyk78; how much more RAM- I play with 48GB DDR4 2133 and crashes mid/late game w/o recovery. I really don't think it is worth the cost. I fought w/ 2K games when CivVI came out over supporting larger map sizes after upgrading my computer. I'm done with them over this. If they don't support larger map sizes correctly they will soon then bye, bye.
