Missing City States
I went to setup a new game and discovered the new menu options and in setting up I discovered that Buenos Aires, Geneva, Hattusa & Brussels are no longer listed in the city-state choices. It does appear that they can be generated into the games but you can't select them to ensure inclusion/exclusion.

thanks, does it happen before or after the first game (or using the "load database" button)

Not sure what you mean by "load database" button. I go to single player / create game / advanced setup.

Click on the menu option for City States Selection and it shows the list of all the city states to choose from and those four are not in the list.

when you are in single player / create game / advanced setup, there is a "load database" button top right.

the mod use the in game database to validate some options, which include CS list.

I was asking to understand if the issue happen before or after the validation.

from your answer I guess it's before.

Ok. Well, I don't see any button to load database but this time when I went in there was a green check mark next to the Create Game and when you hover over it, it does say database is loaded. So I opened up the city-state choices again and they are there at the bottom of the list this time. Don't know how the database got reloaded though since I've looked all around and do not see a button for it anywhere (on Win 10 PC).

Hang on..... more to come... still having an issue... will follow up in a min.

Ok. I was looking at setting up another advanced setup. I started at the top selecting the difficulty and such and when I got down to the city-states and opened it up the list was incomplete again.

So I exited the game entirely and restarted it. When I first go into advanced setup then I do see the load database button that time. So I clicked on it and then started the setup but this time I went first thing to the city-states and they are all there. Maybe there is something else some sort of order of picking things causes a problem?? Dunno.... I guess as long as I can get it by making sure the selection list is opened up first then it's ok.

it's loaded when you start a game, and stay loaded in memory until you quit the program or change the active mods/dlc

I'm having the same issue, with Brussels and Geneva missing. Tried re downloading the map pack, but the CS are still missing. I can't see those city states before or after loading the database.

This option doesn't seem to work in multiplayer, at least I couldn't figure it out. Tried lauching the game but the box is still unclickable no matter what in multiplayer.

Has the issue with Brussels and Geneva been fixed or figured out yet?

Nan Madol and Mitla won't load for me. Also Papa Nui shares a starting location with Fez in Africa (should be in the Pacific) and Hunza loads where Columbia starts instead of in Pakistan.

Hunza starting in Colombia should be correct. The Civilopedia entry for it states that it refers to the modern city of Tunja, Colombia, when it was ruled by the Musica.

Oh, I thought Hunza was for the Hunza Valley in Pakistan. Thanks for the clarification.

Had this same problem (with the same states missing), and load database fixed it.
