Banning Random Leaders in Multiplayer
I do not see the option to do this, and it is the main reason I installed this mod.
Is it possible to ban leaders in multiplayer, and I'm just missing it? Or, are there any other mods which allow this?

If not, what is the likelihood that it will be added to this mod? Or is there something about multiplayer mode that prevents leader banning from ever being possible, with any mod?

Should be possible, before I stopped modding I was planning to have a look at the MP setup screen code at some point to copy there some of the SP setup screen code (IIRC it's not the only option disabled for MP because it would require an override of that file)

But I'm not sure how much work it would require, if it would cause desync on load (I've already set a MP-compatible seed for randomization, but it's not tested), or if SeelingCat even want (and have the time) to have a look.

And note that now that they've set a Wonder picker, Firaxis may use it for civ and CS in the next patch, so that would be a waste of development time for him (or whoever try to implement that)

(and BTW that's exactly why I've was always complaining about the lack of road map or simple communication of what's to come from Firaxis)

Thank you so much for your comments.

From nearly the moment I started playing Civ6, I have primarily played multiplayer with friends, always all random civs, and man are we tired of having several of the same leaders (Pedro, Eleanor, Tomyris, Dido, and a couple of others) show up in game after game. We each have all of the new content (enabled), yet we never seem to get the new civs.

Every so often, I look for a way to limit which leaders are available for Random selection, and I've seen quite a number of people wishing it were possible over the past couple of years. I just assumed it wasn't; but with the wonder picker now being a thing, the code to mirror that with random leaders seems like it is already mostly pre-written.

Much more than being able to select wonders, players have been wanting to limit which leaders are randomly assigned. Seems like the same amount of coding, for a much more useful version of the same feature. It makes me wonder which fora/social media platforms actually get attention from the devs.
