I have the same problem. Whenever I kill my friend I have to use kill them again with the Five Nights At Candy's 2 pack just to get the static off their screen.

turbo i found out how to fix it just reinstall all of them, tell me if it works or not (it helped me)

I will try that but I can't test if it worked because i'm having a different problem where my friend's game crashes when he attempts to join me

well how can i get rid of the static

because i can't see anything in the overlays

there should be a post processing tab and under that tab there should be a section called overlays you need to go there then enable and disable a random overlay and it should be fixed

you need to go to "post prossecs" and go to "overlay" then click one of the boxs 2 times to get rid of the stadic, this works for all of the pill packs.
