Help me find more art
There are still a bunch of techs and units left that go untouched by this mod, and it is getting harder and harder to find appropriate pictures to use. So I'm turning to the wisdom of the crowd to help me find more. If you come across good art I can use for this mod, please post a link here.

Some guidelines:
  • If it's from the show itself or the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ comics, be specific about where it is.
  • If it's fanart, THE ARTIST MUST GIVE PERMISSION. If it's on deviantArt, just put a link here and I'll go ask myself. This project is of course non-commercial and any fanart used will be credited and linked to in the description.
  • The art should be crisp and large enough (256x256 or larger; this is rarely a problem though).
  • A show-accurate artstyle is preferred. Epic painting style is fine. Humanizations, beanie ponies, fluffy ponies and other weird forms will not do.

What am I looking for:
Icons that currently have a human in them (priority):
  • Bronze Working
  • Landsknecht
  • Metallurgy
  • Rifling

  • Stock Exchange
  • Foreign Legion
  • Apollo Program

Pre-Renaissance tech icons:
  • Archery
  • Sailing
  • Masonry
  • Engineering
  • Metal Casting

Unit icons:
  • Landship (WWI era tank)
  • Helicopter Gunship
  • Nuclear Missile
  • Guided Missile
  • Unique units (too many to list)

Unit icons - boats:
  • Cargo Ship
  • Trireme
  • Galleas
  • Caravel
  • Frigate
  • Privateer
  • Ironclad
  • Carrier
  • Destroyer
  • Submarine
  • Missile Cruiser
  • Nuclear Submarine

This is not a complete list of unponified stuff; I'll be glad to hear suggestions for other missing things too. I may update this if a lot gets filled in.

I am currently trying to rally some artist friends of mine to your cause.
You know, you should also ask for custom Leader pic ponfications as well. Who knows? You may just get them!

Leader pic ponification is not a bad idea per se, but those pictures have to fit more requirements to work well. They must look good at 1600x900, must work with the various menu overlays and ideally should look like the particular leader at a glance. (I've occasionally had the thought of Aztec led by Ahuizotl, but for the most part they'd have to be the original leader ponified.) I would be surprised if more than a couple of suitable pieces existed. They could of course be made specifically, but if people are going to make art for this project specifically then leader screen pics are pretty low-priority in my opinion.

I was assuming that the pieces in question would be ponifications of the leaders themselves (which would just be awesome). What about things like the little leader thumbnails? (Like when choosing a civ.) Would those be possible to change?

Nice, thank you. And no I don't need exactly 256x256, I just need at least that since that's the largest icon size. I can easily shrink down bigger things.
