What did i need to do with books?

I just defeat Snake cult party and i got book with rituals. So, whom i need to give it, or it's better to just sold it?

I've Heretics Books too, but i don't know what it's the purposes of these items

Books are used on Knight Orders that dont like you (Bad Rep). 1 Book gets u 1 reputation. Bring them 3 at a time and it yields 5. Hope that helps

Oh, more uses open up when you join or create an Knight order too. Youll see how it works when you get further.
