Unable to skip siege after death
When I attacking a settlement and die I can only skip the battle by retreating. This causes huge penalties in morale and controversy. Even when my attack force greatly outnumbers that of the enemy. It is very annoying having to wait and watch till my troops kill all the enemies. Is there a way to join the assault but when you die let your troops clean up the rest?

Dont believe so. When u die and attempt to retreat the penalty is always there. Even if its not a siege. So you sorta have to way weither or not its worth it.

Awh thats unfortunate, I can usually make a lot of kills before dying but in a siege for a city with 900 soldiers it just takes way too long before the AI fights it out....

Gotta play it safe. Ive been caught up in a 3k siege and ive made it through all the way. It takes sometime but the turn around is usually worth it.

Still though, I think its a bit weird that it cannot be skipped. I usually take some arrow shots every now and then (im not the most patient guy) and eventually die. Would be great if the rest of the battle could just sort itself out and show me the result.
