Unable to see 3.9.4 save game on Moddb 3.9.4 POP install
After the recent update my 3.9.4 save game had become incompatible with the new 3.9.5 update (as the author has stated). So I went to install back the 3.9.4 version of PoP but on Moddb, I transferred my save file out of the steam workshop save file and into the version I had installed and I still can't see my save file in the loadscreen.

Anybody may know why this hasn't worked?

UPDATE: Finally figured it out, it was a simple mistake of not renaming my last save file in the 3.9.4 version folder. Save files are called 'Sg' or 'Last save game', simple enough. Moving an Sg and starting up PoP/warband will work but moving a last save game will not bring back ANY of your progress unless you rename it to 'Sg01' or any number that is not being used in your folder. This seemed to have done the trick and my progress is back the way it was. Bare in mind this is a really easily misinformed mistake to make. so good luck to anybody still to realise.

Okay.

Start up the version from moddb. Create a character, then get to the point where you can save. That creates the save folder for that module. Transfer your Steam Workshop 3.9.4 save to that newly created folder and then launch the game. It'll be able to be loaded.

This is how the savegame folder looks like. Make sure that you put them to the right one.

Then the issue that remains is your inability to do it on your end. We have explained it. We cant do it for you.

I get: (RGL Error invalid number of troops 1204, and a crash) when I try and load my 3.9.4 in the new version.

Maybe you should read the description on the mod page. NOT SAVE GAME COMPATIBLE

This was the first thing I tried and it didn't work. I found out what it was and it is fine now.
