Made an oath with king ulric and want to break it and leave but how

just talk to him and to ask releashed from your oath. you do have to give up all of the fiefs have and you get a relation penalty with him

also i forgot to ask are you a vassal or did he hire you as a mercenary captain?
if it is the latter you have to wait a month after you made the contract with him and it should give you the option to break the contract
