(Need help with) Restoring a broken save or preventing them from breaking
I've got a save that's a few dozen hours in that crashed and now when I click load on that save it crashes the game. I tried a new game which works and reinstalled the mod. Do you guys know of a way to restore the save? If not is there a mod that stores several autosaves incase yours get corrupted? Thanks for any assistance.

There is "_README_POP\PoP 3.9.5 Changelog.txt" in mod installation folder. It consists information how to greatly reduce chance of savegame corruption. But the most important advice is to not to play the "ironmode" (one save) - use 8 save slots.

There is automatic backup save in the savegame folder - just rename it as the main one.

There is as well some kind of save editor for Warband - you could try it.

Thanks for the info, for some reason I played on ironman and also accidentaly overwrote my autosave so I was stuck. I couldn't get the editor to work and at this point I'll just start a new character and keep this stuff in mind.
