I have a question, if Pendor was an ancient superpower, why in version 3.95 its main troops began to sag so much.
I still propose to support the faction and modernize the branch of simple Pendor units.

1. Infantry.
I imagine the Pendor infantry as Roman legionnaires of the 5th-6th centuries.
Equipment Chain mail armor, Large shields, short spears, maces and swords (spatas). Additional equipment - light throwing weapons - knives>light plumbats.
Thus, their survivability will increase due to shields, versatility due to the presence of throwing weapons.
But they will still be inferior to legionnaires (more armor and better throwing weapons), hurskarls (access to axes and better attacking capabilities, slightly stronger shields).

2. Pendor spearmen - I propose to add the ability to upgrade heavy spearmen into halberdiers.

This will reflect the retention of halberdiers in some armies.

3. Pendor arrows - I propose to add the following level of development to the armored archer with ramifications:
3.1 Crossbowman with a rapid-fire crossbow, possibly a mounted version.
3.2 Pendoran Veteran Archer - equipped with a compound bow, 2 quivers of arrows and a simple quarterstaff.

Thus, the versatility of pendor will increase.

n terms of faction composition, we maintain the principle of a medium army, but a strong elite.

1. Non-noble Pendor Infantry gets more survivability on the battlefield and the ability to shoot from medium cover.
Due to their armor and two-handed damage, the noble infantry still occupies a strong position.
2. Spearmen gain more versatility by gaining access to halberds.
3. Archers increase their characteristics and are compared with archers of other factions, but spend more time moving to the top configuration.
An alternative option is to convert to crossbowmen = imperial crossbowmen.
Additionally, mounted crossbowmen with automatic crossbows are displayed.
As a result: non-noble units are good shooters. Noble marksmen = the best marksmen in the game.
