Possible issues
I absolutely love the idea of changing the Pip-Boy from cosmetic to PDA, but there are some pretty big issues that would need to be addressed.

1. The orginal Pip-Boy would need to be removed/modified, and that would bring a lot of issues into the economy.

2. With it occupying a PDA slot, there will likely be cosmetic clipping for most body cosmetics.

With these in mind, I really hope this makes it in somehow. Pip-Boy is one of my favourite cosmetics, and getting a different PDA is great too.

The Pip-Boy isnt that big of a deal in the economy, since its a small item that not that many would care about. Also, how would it clip with any other cosmetics, since there arent any others on the arm?

There are quite a few body cosmetics for engineer that add to the sleeves. Also, these things matter even with smaller cosmetics. There are certain things Valve needs to insure to stay within legal bounds and not piss people off.
