Still working on v1.1.x - Currently running stable v1.0.3
Hello, the new 1.1.1 version fixed the crash problem of 1.1.0, but there have been reports of bad performance.

In 1.1.2, performance has improved, but there are cases in which the heap overflows.

I created this mod for you guys to use any ludicrous amount of mods and still be able to see your Research Tab properly.

The current stable version is still too far from what I consider good enough in terms of looks.

Now back to the drawing board. Sorry guys, you're gonna have to wait a bit more for those sexy lines.

I got on to play a bit of the ol' Rimworld, only to have my game crashing suddenly to "Fatal error in gc: Too many heap sections" crashes. My ram usage goes up to max, then a nice big crash. I checked out my subscriptions and saw that you roled back. I removed your mod and my crash-woes were gone.

Running an Intel i5 4690K with version 1.1.2

Having major lag - see maybe half a second of things moving then 2 seconds of freeze - until after about 2 minutes a heap overflow occurs.

Massive stutter with 1.1.2 until it finally just gives up and crashes. If I click research at all the game fully locks up until it crashes. No problems prior to this, and everything works fine if I disable the mod.

Hope you manage to get everything working soon.

Okay good glad I'm not the only one. Was playing this around 9:30pm or so then went to play some Overwatch with my friends. Got back on around 10:30 and noticed my game ran like garbage after running fine heavily modded. Would get 60 fps for a few seconds then it drops to 1 and freezes for a few seconds then back to 60 (repeat). Thought it had something to do with having too many animals. (Didn't pay attention to my chicken coup.) After getting the same "Fatal error in gc: Too many heap sections" I checked steam for updates and saw this and the Lights+Glass mod updated within an hour or so of each other. Tried to turn them off in-game but I still got the same errors.

Hope you can figure out the fix soon or maybe roll back to the previous version.

Yeah, game was fine a few hours ago, started it up now and its ALL laggy. Crashed a few times with heap overflows. Managed to narrow it down to just this mod. Disabling this mod fixed it no problem. Clicking on the research tab just crashes the whole thing.

It's no problem man. Code never works the way it should, and sometimes it works and we don't even know why.

The problem is that in order to get the better looks of version 1.1.x, the algorithm is still too heavy.

I can live with a little trouble now and then for having such an organized research tab. Dealing with code is like dealing with an eldritch abomination, sometimes it works, sometimes it decides that it would be more amusing to lay waste to the world. You never know which you're going to get.

Edit: That new version does indeed look lovely. I look forward to when it can finally break free of the crashes and stuttering.
