<<Fixed it>>
1) command only works inside armory
2) wont work at all before AWC built
3) wont work for soldier who is ready for promotion
4) will force popup on soldiers who already got an AWC perk
5) will reset soldier's awc rank unlock after class retraining complete
1) command only works inside armory
2) wont work at all before AWC built (sure?, I look into it)
3) wont work for soldier who is ready for promotion (can't change)
4) will force popup on soldiers who already got an AWC perk (intended)
5) will reset soldier's awc rank unlock after class retraining complete (intended)
2) yeah, if you set it before it'll (the yellow icon) still be in the upper right corner...and upon completion they'll all move to random spots
3) no worries...just feedback =)
4) ditto
5) no, you don't understand that last. read it again. in other words it'll remove my console command and reset to the old memorized random location (did you know that? is okay if you do and i'm misunderstanding 'intended')
all this depends upon, of course, one either not using the ini files OR adding the mod during a campaign
*sigh* 2 hours of extensive testing all for nothing. The 'inclass' option never worked as intended (vanilla, new campaign, all DLC, using console commands to get AWC facility and promotions)...i'm going to try and disable all DLC then test once more. wish me luck...
Not so far...going to disable the his version of the security override...
No. Never worked as advertised. A pity. Plus the repec button that appeared wasnt sized correctly...which makes me believe he never tested it.
double checked the ini file itself, and it's fine as far as i've edited it for rank 8.
now, it could be quite possible that i've farted around with a dozen mods (subbing and unsubbing, and in some cases resubbing) which could have screwed up something in the recruiting menu....which in turn affected this mod.
I'll most likely have to start a new campaign to test this theory.
hopefully the issue fixes itself. until then this post will stay
Besides, with the new tweaks you allowed i'm merely adding another of the three first rank perks allowed for each class. (after that i can use my polynomial rank mod to figure out when my soldiers reach rank 9 to use the console to add a second rank perk, and so on)
