Does your mod give a way to keep people from holding meals in their inventory? If not, is it something you might be able to add?

I never had a look at the inventory selection tbh. I think they pick their meals the same way they do for food selection in general.
I am able to add this but I don't really understand the purpose.

Mostly to *try* to avoid the 'ate without table' debuff. If they don't have meals in their inventory, I'm hoping it'll force them to go back to the dining room. I'd rather deal with slightly lower productivity than an annoyingly persisted bad thought.

Well I'll think about it.
That sounds pertinent but it's a bit beyond the scope of the purpose of the mod.

Can you make an option not eating survival meal or pep-something, the food doesn't rot? I wanna use them as emergency or caravan meal, but really annoyed that my colonists keep picking it up.
Also I would appreciate if you add alternative option that animals doesn't eat dead body. It'd sound scary, but I was collecting human leathers.

I'm working on that already because I lot of people ask for it.
For now the problem is that I have two solutions (it might sound abstract...):
* to create a new food category.
* a food score malus for food that never rots (so pawns are less likely to pick it).

You might want to try it. Pre version with PSM saving feature. also works for canned food from VG.

There's a mod called Packed Lunch that gives another option. It works similarly to the survival meal, except pawns won't get a bad mood for eating it on the go.

The only downside is that they'll see that as equal to a simple meal, and end up just snacking in the freezer or their bedroom or where-ever they are, instead of in your nice dining room, unless you've got better meals to go for.

Prisoners keep prisoner default food policy after recruited, I have to manually reset policy for them, can you make it automatically?

Should not happen... do you play with hospitality ?

Would it be possible to have the 'print report' print to a seperate file, perhaps within the mod folder?

Reason being, sometimes people need to send output logs to mod makers, or I'm sure at times support, and it would be great if it didn't include 500 lines of lists.

Since A18 it is not systematic on start.
And if I start developing this mod again, I would rework it in a way that this report should be much shorter.

Maybe a meat only option for animals, i cant get them to eat animal meat at all, which is all i want them to eat at some points.

Recruited prisoner should change their meal option to colonist default option. Right now they will eat the worst meal until I remember to change it. Not the biggest deal, but its QoL thing.

@Mike, Paste, meal, kibble. Any of those are more profitable than raw meat.
@Euruzilys Known bug.
