ARIT - Skana v.3

Looks inefficient, like the concept.
I think you should simpllfy the design a bit, the wave like structure of this skin makes it look inefficient, perhaps it should be a slight wave near the hilt and the rest should be like the blade of normal skana. However the general idea of your texture and concept is pretty good, and might suit the upcoming chroma deluxe skin. :D

similar designs have been used in our own real human history. Even more strangely looking blades have been used by cultures such as india and egypt, for example see the khopesh or Serpent Daggers/Flamberge swords. Some without experience in swords or swordplay would even call the Khukri "ineffeciennt" but would be dead wrong. I can see the efficiency of this weapon in draw or thrust cuts seeing as the cutting edge of this blade is almost 15% longer than the base-to-tip of the blade.

secondly the point of the blade is almost perfectly in line with the handle so the skin would work fantastically on puncture weapons.

Paulie, regarding this matter, I first have the need to say that "looking" inefficient and "being" inefficient are different things. Second of all, yes, there has been some interestingly designed sword designs throughout history, but these types of weapıns have died throught the ages. I think in a game like warframe, we should be seeing more sleek, efficiently designed weapons that suit the possible date of the game. Honestly, regarding this weapon skin, it doesn't really bring out a weapon theme, nor does it bring anything related to warframe. Additionaly, you gave an example of a kukri, but kukri is indeed an efficient weapon, because its center of gravity and curve is directed to the opponent. However, imagining this sword skin, its center of gravity would be towards the middle, or near to the hilt, causing the swords tip being utterly ineffective. Even a person who knows the basics of torque can undertand this. The kukri, khopesh all share this same logic, opposed to this weapon. Plus, btw the tip and main curve of the weapon, there is another curve invards, and this curve would hinder the puncturing ability of this weapon. The weapon however will prove to be worth in parrying though as it can easily block hits with the curves inward, however the skana nor any sword in this game is used or designed for parrying. All the efficiency thigs aside, I think that the wierd curves in the weapon make it look worse, and I like the general ideas of this skin, so arework of this skin will help make it look cooler. In fact, only removing the inner curve in the tip of this weapon would suffice. Or the idea of this efficiency thing could be entirely ignored, so that the weapon will have a great aesthetic value like the serpent daggers and flamberges and be made to a weapon of pure visuals. However I believe that the current look of this weapon does neither deliver efficiency nor aesthetics throughly. Slight adjustments would make the skin perfect, as I believe that the idea behind the making of this weapon is pretty well thought, but not delivered.
