Cannon shot physics

Solid shot has a tendency just to dissapear on impact instead of traveling through obstacles and men. I understand that its challenging to make the shot bounce off the ground, but I find it frustrating that a 12 pounder cannonball has extreme difficulty passing through a fence.

I must rephrase. Its not that solid shot won't pass through a fence, its that it wont continue to do damage down a path as it seems it should.
