I'd be happy to fill in the gaps -
There's a Japanese Bullet-Hell series known as Touhou, and it's well-known for its vast amount of female characters; most of them are Youkai. One particular character is named Reisen Udongein Inaba, a Moon Rabbit, so she sports a pair of rabbit ears on her.

Hope that helps to explain the coincidence, seeing as I'm a fan of Touhou myself too. But on a related topic, this skin is awesome and I'd love to see this one added to the game.

Oh lol no, i'm definitely not taking inspiration from pop culture or anime culture at all. All the names and themes you see as familiar is because i use history and folklore as inspiration and so do other artists in general (the good ones at least), included those who make manga and such at some extent. :)

thats exactly what i thought when i saw this, especially because ivara is a range based warframe and reisen uses bullets.

I'm so happy to find touhou warframe fans, even though this skin is not a reference to touhou

Aww was thinking from the start this was a reference to Reisen

even if it isn't a reference to touhou, we still need it in the game. it's a wonderful skin all around.
