Next map
Q2DM1 has been suggested. I have started working on it... I'm not sure if I should try to restyle the map with models from CoD or try to stick to the Q2 look, thoughts, opinions, or suggestions?

As I don't play Quake, I don't know "the look", but I like the look of The Warehouse, so I think you go with what you feel you can give your best to!

hey i downloaded the q2dm8 and i cant find it no where?? please help me i want to play this map so bad and i cant find it anywhere i resubscribed so it would be under the last thing i downloaded on my maps but i dont see it anywhere if u can please try to help me out thanks

Man, you are doing great. This is shaping up pretty nicely.
I support your decision to rework it a bit - after all CoDs movement mechanics are very different. Though I'm pretty sure main 'silo' area would work great even at 'vanilla' state. Can't wait to wallrun those curves.
As for design - I'd sticked to CoD style in some areas (like smg tunnel for example) since it isn't 1-to-1 recreation. It'd give the map unique identity - like parts of facility were remodeled later.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to try your take on timeless classic.
