I must be blind (HellKite summoning?)
I can not for the life of me find where to summon the hellkite. could some one point me to the thread or artical that says how to? Thanks.

Yes you have to kill an alpha of what ever kind you want to get the engram and then just collect all the parts. Craft it in the table and then when you eat what it gives you it will pretty much kill you so have your other party members ready but then you will have a hellkite to go after.

We use extinction core. Tons of alphas. Not sure I have the engram. What is the engram called. I do not see any craftables other than saddles in the workbench. Thanks for the replies!!!!
