Right now, the main focus is getting the new soul heart variant running. The concept behind this is that there are many ideas that I have the revolve on having an enemy that is just a plain soul heart that acts the same as the Angel Heart enemy. It would look like a normal Soul Heart but it would raise into the air, grow wings, and fight. It would drop a soul heart when killed in a similar fashion to the Angel Hearts.
I want to use this Soul Heart enemy in 2 ways as of right now. The first way is for the trinket I have implemented already. ( Sprite Image Link[imgur.com]) This trinket, as of right now, makes it so there is a 20% chance that any soul heart will become an Angel Heart Enemy. The scary part is that there is also a 50% chance that it will become the new Soul Heart Enemy. This means that you have a bigger opportunity for Angel Hearts to spawn, at the drawback of having a 50/50 chance of having to fight for a soul heart. These numbers may be adjusted in the future before release, but I think I got the idea across.
The second use would be for custom rooms. I would create more Secret Rooms or Super-Secret Rooms. They would contain different layouts of Angel Heart Enemies and Soul Heart Enemies.
After all of that work is done I will move on to custom AI.
