can you make the galaxy(maybe on distance only touching borders of warring emps) and fallen(except militant) not care about wars of humilation as much.
or maybe clasify it as a show of streangth instead of a war

If I am able to do this, it'll need some time. Added it to my inofficial to-do list, but no promises!

The wars of humiliation can get really tedious if you are the opposing ethic to any fallen empire.
Maybe make the opinions only work on awakened empires? Just a suggestion since every ten years a fallen empire declares war on me.( Materialists getting destroyed by a spiritualist fallen empire). Btw love the mod. :)

Thanks for your feedback! I think I'll add a few exceptions for some things. I’m glad you like it :)

Interestingly enough in my current game I'm Spiritualist and the Materialist FE still loves me besides every modifier.

So can you post a screenshot or just give me a list of the modifiers that affect the opinion between them and you? So it's easier for me to see what the big opinion hits are.

http://imgur.com/a/vLIqM This should help. They were already at -90 modifier with wicked cyborgs and materialists fools. They also declared war on me twice as soon as possible since I have another mod that removes the 10 year truce. I have basically been at war since installing this mod XD.

Updated. Check the changelog.

But: That doesn't necessarily remove your problem of having a lot of wars against them. They're still the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Holy Guardians of the Galaxy and you're just a... well... "Materialistic Fool" that annoys them.
Also using a mod that removes the truce is your "fault" (depends on how you see it, truce doesn't only work against the player).
But I still think that the changes I made make sense and should improve at least other situations.

Thanks, thats pretty good. I agree that i kinda shot myself in the foot. I should have waited to become cyborgs later into the game where i could fight them.

Just noticed that the "Relative Power of Subjects" Modifier is reversed (it was negativ -73 before and now is +73 in one of my saves)
xor  [developer] 20 Apr, 2017 @ 10:25am
That is actually correct. I integrated this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=683277624 because I agree with the author of that one. Do you disagree?
soranya 20 Apr, 2017 @ 11:03am
I do disagree because this bug is not in the game anymore.
Just checked with my current Savegame and deleting my fleets let the Modifier jump from -73 (~300k fleet power) to -120 at ~150k fleet power and --6500 at no fleetpower. I would say that it should be capped at -200 or -300 it most certainly is not bugged (anymore).
soranya 20 Apr, 2017 @ 11:06am
The reverse test (your mod activated) yielded +73 at 300k + 120~150k and +6500 at 0 Fleetpower.

This mod currently changes

# Subject's relative power to overlord

from

opinion_relative_power = {
opinion = {
base = -1 # per 1% power}
min = -1000}

to

opinion_relative_power = {
opinion = {
base = 1 # per 1% power}
max = 50}

I'm not sure about your numbers. Values like + or -6500 shouldn't happen.

Then i do have a really really weired bug. (Non the less it looks the inverted numbers bug was fixed).
And getting positive opinion is certainly not the way it should work imho.
Could you consider reverting your changes to that part if it turns out that there is no bug anymore.(by other testers)

In opinion_modifiers there appear to be two triggers that are lacking a proper "{" in front of them:

[11:14:41][trigger.cpp:243]: Expected "trigger = {", but got "trigger = has_valid_civic" at file: common/opinion_modifiers/00_opinion_modifiers.txt line: 1529
[11:14:41][trigger.cpp:243]: Expected "trigger = {", but got "trigger = has_valid_civic" at file: common/opinion_modifiers/00_opinion_modifiers.txt line: 1577

Also found missing civic in front of a few has_valid_civic = conditions

[11:14:43][trigger_impl.cpp:20685]: Invalid government civic type [technocracy]! file: common/opinion_modifiers/00_opinion_modifiers.txt line: 1399
[11:14:43][trigger_impl.cpp:20685]: Invalid government civic type [police_state]! file: common/opinion_modifiers/00_opinion_modifiers.txt line: 1411
