an outside?
this map is great really great but I'm thinking maybe a world or skybox outside instead of just white

do you know how hard hammer is to use? this map must have taken in total of hours about two weeks. but then again a outside would be nice to see, maybe even have a courtyard for the place

Hammer is not hard to use, its just complicated. Once you figure everything out, it should be fine. Also things taking time creates the illusion of difficulty, not actual difficulty.

I'd be cool if there was an entrance, like the front and back of the asylum and you could go inside through a broken window, kind of like the outlast intro.

Well, a 3d skybox would be probably the least difficult thing about this map. I dunno, if the author has a model creator at hand, it'd need about, let's say, ten different models of destroyed houses, some foliage, and a nice skybox texture to create a convincing outside.

What about a dirt road? or maybe a 3D forrest?

maybe you start in a cabin and you go and explore the woods. then find the asylum in the middle of the forest!
