I meant what actual foods can be created in total and exactly what needs to be done. Cause I have had certain foods only be possible with certain ingredients when your formula suggests anything from that category should do.

Any fruit gives Jam, any Spice gives Spice which gives Spice which gives (...), any Protien gives Burger Steak, any Cerial gives Crackers and if anything, you should look harder.

It's as the codex manual says. "Fruit" category items don't work with "spice" by themselves, and the additional food processors have their own specific recipes as indicated in their own codex manuals.

Sugar and eggshoot gives the same as chili and milk, because those are the same categories of items.

Let's start with Tier 1. C category items (rice, wheat, etc) by themselves give you biscuits. F (kiwi, apples, carrots, beakseed, etc) category items give you mixed jam. P category items (eggs, eggshoot, milk, any kinds of meats) give you burger steak. S category items (all Glitch foods like currentcorn and diodia, but also sugar, chili, and other things you'd use to spice up a normal meal) just become generic spice, which is inedible but won't rot. This is still somewhat useful because while sugar or cocoa won't go bad, currentcorn will.

These Tier 1 items can be used as ingredients in your basic C-button menu. Biscuits and jam can be combined. Burger steak can be heated with water and a self-heating bag to raise the food value. This is a recurring element - most foods can be reheated like this. You can also place the item with some water into a collapsible stove or advanced stove. Some recipes don't work in a collapsible stove.

For Tier 2: C items and P items give you protein cubes. C items like rice and F items like beakseed or carrots give you energy bars. F and P give you canned stew. P and S (eg eggshoot and sugar) gives you the exact same thing as C and P items - more protein cubes.

The cubes and canned stew can be heated like the burger steak - use your basic C-button crafting menu, or a stove.

Tier 3 items are "space food." The normal kind is a grain (C), a protein (P), and a spice (S). The vegetarian kind uses a fruit or vegetable (F) instead of a protein. These two items are convenient because you don't need a self-heating bag or stove to craft them into their cooked format. You just need water.

Tier 4 only has one recipe and one result. If you add one item from every category (say rice, beakseek, eggshoot, and sugar), you get a Protectorate MRE. Preparing this requires a self-heating bag or stove again, making them less convenient to prepare than the space food. The food value is very, very high, however, and like the rest of the food in this mod, the unprepared version takes forever to go bad.

This is a comprehensive list for the basic food processor model. The other models have codex entries providing much more specific recipes, which ask for specific items, more similar to the cooking recipes in the base game.
