CLOCK STEP?
After you put the fuse in one of the Der Eisendrache control panels, you can interact with the clocks, next to each clock is a chalkboard with the following sums: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/824566203563427407/11D8415A2EF556F430C17CAB3C601D0BBFB03D40/

The chalkboard MUST have some purpose in finding out where you point the arrow on the clock. As on one of the Der Eisendrache control panels you can find a minature version of one ontop of it as shown here: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/824566203563701245/D5C539F424A563D71B00F51145E98A8D07AE957A/
(It's a little hard to see)

Could some smart person just tell us how to solve this step pls?
Comment if you know anything or (somehow) you solved it...

PS: Ugh I come here to play zombies, not to solve ♥♥♥♥ing quadratic equations. Come on madgaz get ur♥♥♥♥♥♥together m8, not even trollarch made us do maths to do an easter egg...

So far all of us that have solved it have really long and awkward numbers so we don't think thats how we need to do it.

ax^2+bx+c=0 is standard formula for quadratic equation. just sayin

And the equation with the x and y is insolvable. Dont bother with it.

Yeah it sure seems like it. Maybe the numbers are off on the chalkboard? All I know is that boards HAVE to be related in some way, as it's the object above one of the Der Eisendrach panels. Plus, if they weren't related, why would they be right by every clock on the map.

or maybe the boards become a part after you place the fuse in the board panel, i guess there will be a step per panel

yeah is has to be just not sure how..... some of us have been trying to find other chalk but hasn't lead to anythng yet

well we don't have to use the stuff on the chalkboard as i just worked it out and it ended up as either -0.1968323994 or -7.303167601
MoistGravy ;) 29 Apr, 2017 @ 3:10pm
maybe there is a code around the map or maybe we have to use the cipher under the shelf

Thanks, good to know.

Actually if you solve for x you will get x = 5 if you follow the order of operations and then you can plug 5 into the xy equation but it gives you y = 0.013066

An auto-solver would say that assuming that x is like 1/115, there is no real solution.

and 0.013066 isnt a helpful answer

it may not be helpful but it is a solution

i thought you would have to find X first on the bottom equation, then plug in that value for X to find the Y value, but the Y value came up as something stupid
