Help Me Test the Dog Steps
I am having a lot of frustration with this dog round glitch and I know most of you are also having this issue.

My theory is that this has to do with a spawner in a certain area of the map causing an immediate crash.

The possibilities:
1. This is just a random error that is happening to a select few of us (I don't believe this)
2. This is a dog spawn that is triggered in one zone, but spawns somewhere we can't reach, INSIDE the map (The thing I believe)
3. This is a dog spawn that is triggered in one zone, but spawns outside the playable area (Possibility)

Right now I have the starting room and the room outside opened (where you get the teddy bear item), only these two areas. Both times I was able to complete a full dog round without any issue on round 5.

I have college later today but I will be testing different combinations, such as opening new areas, opening the entire map, etc. Hopefully this will help Madgaz and everyone else working on this map reach a conclusion to this issue.

What you can do to help: If you experience a game crash, post what exactly you did that game (which direction you went from spawn, what guns you had, where you were, what doors you opened, etc.)

I'm going to keep testing with the first two doors opened that I mentioned an see if there is still a crash by getting to later dog rounds. Hopefully we will reach a conclusion!

EDIT: Just so Madgaz knows, the dog spawner right next to the Winchester 1200 is facing the wall. The guy has to physically make a 360 to go to where the player is. <-- further proving that maybe this is a spawner issue (although I'm just drawing blind conclusions atm)

Starting Room: Game Start > Purchase Quick Revive > Open Teddy Bear Pickup Area

Teddy Bear Area: Obtained Chaos Cannon from box > First Dog Round, no crash > Obtained crusaider ale from Duck power up > Second Dog Round, no crash > Obtained Winchester 1200 from box > Opened Thompson room

Thompson Room: Opened Tree room

Tree Room: Switched W1200 for STG > Third Dog Round, no crash > Ended game

I'm going to update the OP with Safe Rooms and Not Safe Rooms

I also think that this crash has to do witht the drop down area from the top of the school to the basement, behind a 1K door. It seems suspicious, but if the tree things spawn up there, what if they can't get down or up?

Try using a controller when playing to recreate this glitch. It mainly happens to me in the power room, and the outside bridge (jumpscare) area

as far as I know it happens to me everytime when I see them spawn strange enough.... sounds really odd but they can spawn but at the moment i see them spawn it crashes... tried different regions (outside, jugg, power and spawn) but no luck... MSAA trick didnt work for me aswell...

It probably mostly has something to do with the custom models, since I only crash whenever I see them spawn in, and I can see a flicker of ragdoll and suddenly they form together. I checked the shift+~ console and it was spamming pathfinding errors for me. So I don't really know, but just providing some options.

Crash seems to have to do with the spawn effect. The Chaos Cannon that sometimes creates the same dog spawn effect also crashed me. That or a dog spawned somewhere I didn't see. It didn't crash my friends who were hosting.

Edit: No, definitely none of those dogs spawned, just the effect form the cannon crashed me.

Enable sync every frame and place max FPS at 60

Hey it has something to do with the Framerate and animation i think. I usually play on 120hz and it crashes, but when i play with 60hz it wont crash. Perhaps it has something to do with the animations of the custom models.. it could also explain why it wont crash for everyone

Tried again recorded 120 FPS disable sync. It didnt crash round 5 dog dash round.
So no idea lol. Maybe its fixed because it crashed every time I tried before at same point end of dog dash round with the 120 FPS no sync setting.
