Item stats (also how to use Ammo Bag, Med Satchel and the rest.) -Work in progress-
I'm gonna update this whenever I test stuff.


Notes.

IAF Medical Satchel: Weapon Slot Item.
"A standard issue IAF pack containing medical supplies for use in the field by a trained medic. This pack has enough supplies to treat multiple casualties. It also contains a number of secondary charges for self-healing."
Or for short, The "8 or 9 IAF Personal Healing Kits in 1 pack."

(+) The Good.

*Can heal on the move without slowing down at all.

*Is affected by the "Healing" and "Infestation Curing" perk, so Faith heals/cures more then Bastille (9 uses with Faith, 8 with Bastille)

*Heals most of a marine's health in 1 use (65 HP with Faith, 57 HP with Bastille )

(-) The Bad.

*Only has 8/9 uses so it's not effective for healing small wounds (like the med beacon)

*Can NOT group heal and strictly limited to 8/9 uses (only effective for small 4 man teams)

*Doesn't heal as fast as the med-gun, nor as effective at removing a parasite Infestation on multiple occasions. (Takes 1 use for Faith to cure an infestation, Bastille takes 2.)

*Bots can not use the IAF Medical Satchel.

How to use it?

Exactly like the Med gun, Aim at a marine and left click on them Or yourself to heal.
(can only use 1 at a time while healing is in effect).


Effectiveness: 5/10.
(med beacon can heal multiple people, with faith's beacon it can heal 95 HP bastille's reaches 90 hp and you can drop 1 and continue shooting without having to keep healing manually)


Fire Extinguisher: Offhand Item.
"Filled with a multi-purpose flame suppressant, this item can be used to extinguish any kind of fire encountered in the field."
It's a Fire Extinguisher, it extinguishes fires hence the name.


(+) The Good.

*It's a Firefighter, it stops fire from bullying you and your team with 3rd degree burns.

*It's a Offhand item meaning you can equip 3 Fire Extinguishers (if you find them on a map), which also means you don't need to drop your weapon to remove fire (if you don't have a flamer).

*200 ammo capacity, while the Flamer (using it's alt fire) has only 40, also doesn't need to be reloaded.

(-) The Bad.

*0 damage against enemies and takes up a Offhand item slot.

*Can't be resupplied.

*Bots can not use the Fire Extinguisher.

*If you drop Your Fire Extinguisher it loses it's "offhand item" trait and becomes a normal weapon (can't place it back into 3rd item slot offhand item.)

How to use it?
Aim at any nearby fires or flaming teammates and Left click on your mouse, till the fire goes away.


Effectiveness: 3/10 (Flamer's alt-fire does the same thing, can be resupplied and can also create fires with primary fire mode.)



T75 Explosives: Offhand item.
"Demolitions explosive. After arming, retreat to minimum safe distance immediately."
A big red bundle with 8 sticks of TNT for blowing stuff up <Seen during "Yanaurus Mine" and "Lana's Vents">


(+) The Good.

*Destroy a door in 2 charges!

*No need to wait for a tech with a welder, or to boost your welding speed instead of watching glue dry.

*Nearly kill a shield-bug with 1 charge (5% health left a few shots with an assault rifle will kill it).

*Kill an entire swarm (30+ drones) if timed perfectly, Place the bomb, arm it to 75% lure swarm towards it, team mate throws "Freeze Grenades", arm bomb fully and Boom!.

*Blocks swarm if placed at the top of stairs


(-) The Bad.

*Takes 3 seconds to arm and 5 seconds to explode not an effective "panic grenade"

*Blocking also affects team mates (only the user can run through a placed bomb), not effective for blocking on flat ground.

*Does not work in destroying certain "weldable only" doors (like the one near the end of 'Communication Center')

*it's high damage means it's a really easy to kill yourself (or your entire team) with 1 charge, a single explosive device can almost 1 hit Jaeger (0.1% health left) a sneeze would kill you.


How to use it?
Press 1 Near a door (or wherever you want to place it) and press E to arm it, takes 3 seconds to arm and explodes in 5 seconds.
Takes 2 bombs to blow up 1 door, to blow up both bombs at about the same time Place 2 bombs arm 1 to 75% (press E when bar is nearly full, then back away) arm 2nd bomb to 75% then quickly arm both and step back.


Effectiveness: 4/10 (chainsaw has unlimited ammo takes no time to prepare, anyone can use it).



Mining Laser: Weapon Slot Item.
"A CHOBS manufactured high powered 550MW precision laser, used to cut through rock with ease. Mining lasers are commonly used on off-world colonies, being an essential part of any large resource-gathering operation."
Or what I like to call "The long range chainsaw"


(+) The Good.

*Destroys doors

*Burns biomass really fast.

*Damage Bonus perk effects it!

*Kill Swarm drones with 1 charge (1 shot kill)

*300 Ammo Capacity

*Kills special's *Fast due to it's "50 damage" (rangers,harvesters shield-bugs etc.)

*Charge-up loop-able while reloading
(You don't have to start laser up again if you're still firing when you reload successfully)

*Has a secondary firing mode that (Hides the mining laser beam) so you can effectively kill with your laser sight (maybe good for pvp when you don't want enemies to avoid your mining laser)


(-) The Bad.

*Not effected by the "X33 Damage Amplifier"

*Windup (like the mini-gun) if you get attacked while firing/charging mah lazar, you get stun locked. You can not fire while getting hit by enemies and are left defenseless

*Just barely kills a drone with 1 shot, you really need to focus on them if you miss even 1% of the laser it will get past and kill you very quickly.

*Uses ammo while the chainsaw is Unlimited and has no windup.


How to use it?
Hold "Left Click" charge up takes 2 seconds, can fire constantly for 10 seconds.
It pairs well with the "IAF Tesla Cannon" and "Freeze Grenades", Stun with Tesla charge up your laser and "laser-saw" them to bits.
Use it to break down "welded" doors , remove Bio-Mass very quickly and destroy rocks that block your path.


Effectiveness: 2/10 (The windup will get you killed if your already getting attacked, chainsaws ammo is unlimited and is a better weapon in general. Also due to the "Melee Damage" perk increasing it's damage further then the Mining Laser could.)




Swarm Bait:Offhand item.
"A large chunk of synthetic meat soaked in Swarm pheromones. Will temporarily distract any nearby Swarm."
A flare that attracts swarm to it like Metal to a Magnet... when it works.


(+) The Good.

*Distracts the swarm away from you , providing you some time to reload and promptly shoot them in the back.

*Lasts 30 seconds.

*You get 9 of them.

*Works on specials (Shield-bugs Rangers , Boomers , Mortar-bug etc.)
Render Harvesters harmless including their Xenomites, Make shield-bugs expose their backside for your chainsaw or just make a Mortar-bug shoot itself. Very useful in stopping buzzers from harassing you on "Jericho Mines" elevator.

*Useful when your the last one alive and you need to hack something , Throw a few down and hack away.


(-) The Bad.

*Unreliable sometimes it works other times it doesn't even when it does work it can still get you killed.

*Swarm distracted by the bait still attack it , you will still take damage if you are close to it.

*Short range, if the enemy fails to walk almost directly over it the effect is ignored.

*Slow acting, if the enemy is already chasing you and you chuck 1 over it's head it will continue after you.

*Does not kill/freeze/stun the swarm after the effect expires they will be back to their original nasty selves full health and ready to eat you alive.

*Not an effective "Panic Grenade" due to the fact if you throw it straight down at your feet the swarm will attack it and kill you by accident.

*Unclear when it's working without waiting to see if the swarm chasing you turns around and ignores you.


Effectiveness: 3.5/10 (When it does work it will save your life distracting shield/mortar-bugs and the vast swarms and every other time you'd be better off throwing rocks at the swarm as hard as you can. It will get you killed even when it works, they still keep attacking)

Might have been better with images and video gameplay, but that's way out of my league.
Maybe some "icon's" for each item but that would require me uploading an image for each one to steam.

F.Y.I. I'm saving "IAF Ammo Bag" for the end it's the most complex and I'd like to give it extra attention.

I'm open to constructive criticism and suggestions "a better title" would be nice.

also just gave AI mining laser and they couldn`t aim it it just aimed as if I was playing that AI
