The same thing happened to me with the rates, my silver meter reached 0 and I kept paying in debt to the galactic empire, I thought it was a bug in the mod, but in the end I realized that I had bought slaves from the empire and they were behaving badly, They were in my dungeons, this made the empire not stop charging me fees, the only solution I found was to free these slaves or execute them, at the moment they stopped being part of my colony those payment messages disappeared.

I spent until late hours trying to break the game until I realized the problem in question. I almost lost Millennium Falcon and about 120 hours of play in my main base.

I have the same issue but i dont have any slaves whatsoever in the colony.

Yeah, same issue, no slaves and no empire forces present on my map.

Same here, I have a very prosperous colony with over 100K silver. The empire visitors show up and are having a good time and suddenly, they start taking all of my silver, I am "in debt to them" and they keep trying to take all my silver to pay for taxes. I opened the console and added a ton of silver to my stocks and it all was taken too. It seems a taxing trigger doesn't turn off and loops ad infinitum, so long as there are empire visitors in the colony.
