You can use the scenario editor to set your starting faction to one with no research done. They won't have the research malus but there's still all the tech to unlock.

Could make it so when they eat Human meat it won't affect them but eating meat from one of their own will. ( I dont know anything about modding so excuse me if i ask something too hard =p. )

They can eat raw food with no repercussions, they also have grapes (a foxish delicacy). What were you considering?

I don't plan to do trait modding, to be honest.

I would recomend setting thier research level to either industrial or mideival. Ultra is a bit OP considering the other perks they get.
