How is everything going btw?
Of course, having actually unique factions would be nice as well. Have the Empire, the Alliance, the New Republic, the Republic and the CIS have ships that don't overlap with other factions. In the old version of the mod, most factions would be able to build many of the same ships. It'd be good from the faction standpoint if each faction had their own unique set of ships, in order to give each faction its own identity.
There ARE build restrictions that you can employ, it's just as of the classic mod (which I'm currently using), the AI doesn't seem to be able to use anything other than unlimited building. The range on the ships is so insane that IMO it makes the base building aspect of the mod a complete waste of time.
