I would have to say CIS for me. Fallowed by the Republic.

For the CIS. I Love useing the Droid Control ships. for their Endless Swarms. XD And I like the 2 Geinosion ships they have as well. even if they may need some stat changes.

As for the Republic. I Like useing the Venitor ships, With Arc170s plus the Drop gun ships used to take troops to different battle sites.

well tecnically the drop ship is not possible to use in space i belive

but my favorite faction has to be the empire as it has the strongest navy in star wars
with 25000 star destroyers in the navy i dont think much can mach them

If you've played the Republic factoin in this mod. You see they have the Clone Dropship/Gunship that transports the clones in star wars episode 2. Take a look. It's kinda OP at the moment. In my opinion.

If we are just Going by favorite faction's in star wars. I may have to say. My favorite faction are the Killiks from the Swarm Wars Era. But as for the question in my First post. We are only talking about factions that are currently in game. Or factions that will soon be in game. But as far as I know. there are only 4 factions in game. The Republic, CIS, Galactic Empire and Rebels. With the Inclusion of a Militia Faction. that will be added. As of this time. That's all we know for sure that will be in game.

The zann consortium Has some Awesome ships too. XD I would really love to have them in game. o7

It depends on the model of gunship, I believe the LAAT/i could go in space, but had typically no ball turrets on the sides.

hmm. That's interesting. Thanks for pointing that out. I never realized. Though I'm pretty sure they could use the Ball Turrets in space if they wanted too. For a few reason. 1) It adds quite a lot of fire power. 2) It is Sealed, and even if it wasn't the Clone armors come with their own Air seal, and Life support. Now for some reason why they may not want to use it. 1) It Probably can't take any heavy weapons fire before Braking. It may be similar to Bullet Prof Glass. In that it's meant to stop Small arms/Infantry fire. 2) There probably is a limit to the Oxigen Supply of the Clone armor's Life Support. So long Lasting trips or battles in space, may not be recomended.

There is another Air Speeder that could be used in space. at least in a limited way. The V-wing airspeeder. All it needs is a vacuum seal. Then it could be used in space. But to make it match that there is limited Oxigen supply. Add for this ship. the refueling game mechanic found in the Home world game. Meaning it can only be deployed so long before having to return to a ship to refuel. But in this case, It's getting a fresh supply of Oxygen.
Maybe make it so You can only build the V-wing_Speeder_Transport,_Model_A And it comes with a single wing of 4 V-wing Air Speeders.
And maybe make the V-wing_Speeder_Transport,_Model_B an Upgrade to the Model_A that makes it carry a wing of 6 V-wing Air Speeders.

Just as a note, I covered up all of the open doors on the LAAT gunships, now the air won't leak out. My understanding is that the standard gunships could drop from orbit, but had minimal capability to manuver. There are space hardnened variants http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Space_gunship/Legends from the clone wars so that's what these are.
