Right and left audio PROBLEM

Is anybody else experiencing that the visualizing is only on the left audio track? When there's only sound coming from the right speaker the visualizer doesn't do anything. Is that on purpose? If so, then why are there "Reverse Left Audio" and "Reverse Right Audio" buttons?
