Perhaps grenade shell and pin, plus gunpowder= Grenade? As in the MilSpec grenade, not that makeshift garbage. (ID-254)

This would open for another Tool/Weapon, the mold for the shell, while the pin could simply be made from a wire and a scrap, as in my experience with grenades was that as long as it was strong enough to hold the spoon on the shell, it didnt matter how expertly it was crafted.

shotung ammo should be craftable as well. Maybe add lead pellets or what ever they are called and that iwth shells and gunpowder would make 20/12 gauge shotgun shells

Can a recipe be made to make tracer rounds? The recipe could be simmilar to low cal. military rounds, but something extra to add the "tracer" aspect (maybe using smoke grenades or something, idk. I just though i'd give my 2 cents to the conversation).

A way to remove ammunition from magazines, recycle empty mags, move ammunition from one mag to another mag of the same class/caliber

Flares maybe? this could affect the tracer color maybe.

If you make like a thing with scrap that make tiny metal balls and with that make (with some ingot of your choice) a gauge shell?
