Where do you find salt? I looked in the shop (where you buy yeast) and don't see it there.

you can buy yeast breeder jars (seeds) from the TERRAMART inside the main NPC encampment station (the assistant is a florian seed seller) (i think salt can be purchased via the place where you normally buy starship fuel) (petrol station to the left most part of the map) (you can also process salt from corel creep and other ocean planet based items) (if you are using fracking universe try not to get confused with the salt that this uses is a chemical version of salt (sodium NA+CL- (NACL) = salt :D

Hello, (Frackin Universe involved question) I've noticed that when I buy seeds from the Terramart (e.g Cinnamon) those seeds cannot be put into the Xeno research lab/ will not give genes. Have I done something wrong/ not understand something?

@MAPLE SYRUP) A very good question!, i think the lab will only accept certain seeds, if those seeds are not a part of the FU mod then they will not be recognized as a seed, (ps i think cinnamon is part of colonol nutties mod here, not fracking universe mod :) (my suggestion is that you try every seed until you find the right ones, its probably a good idea to build a storage base somewhere you can easy get to on a safe planet and set down a teleport or a teleporter flag so you can instantly transmit yourself from your ship to that safe-house full of seeds and things you want to keep, what i like to do is keep at least 10 of all seeds in my storage so i never run out, and use the rest to pull out all the DNA of the surplus seeds :)

additional info... use growing trays to quickly double or even triple your seeds using good fertilizers and or compost :)

take note of the types of fertilizers you are using... use the "info mode" to check the effects of each compost, mulch or fertilizers in your growing tray after inserting all three (growing medium I.E compost, mulch, fertilizer) (many different liquids can be used in replacement of water...healing water works...but i found that many others work too... and way better than just water... im not going to add a ton of spoilers.... you'll have to find out and run tests and experiments) and finally the seeds.... it might need more than 1 seed per growing tray batch... so be careful how many you throw into the tray because you always wanna keep at least a few seeds handy for later)

additional info on TREE SEEDS... its a good idea to invent in the machine that can splice tree seeds also... what it does for you is that it can take two types of tree seeds and mix their (fruit drops) with their (wood drops) together... so if you see a super massive wood tree grab its seeds, and if you see a tree with your favorite fruit growing on it... then what this machine can do for you is mix both those tree seeds together and give you a custom tree that has your favorite characteristics (I.E it will be a tree that can now both produce your fruit and also give you insane amounts of wood from just 1 tree) :D

find seeds from harvested plants, you can grow more seeds using the right fertilizers in a plant growing bed... if you are refering to fracking universes mod then this is the easyest way to get more seeds fast by using the right fertilizers for seed production. there are many types of liquids and fertilizers that can be used, your job is to run experiments to find out what the best drop rates are for you... silicone liquid (healing water) can be used as a hydration and mulch can be used as a fertilizer... cheap...and might not give you many seeds back if you use mulch... but there are fertilizers you can make on a "chemical orientated workbench"

there is also a seed propigator table i think you can use this to attain more seeds... also try building the greenhouse... its a seed crafting house from materials you find later will be useful in making hybrid plants that work better in some ways

Is that normal that my outputs such as "chopped banana " can stacking up?
Because I found that it will stack up sometimes but sometimes not.

stacking is true for most things yes...it is normal... but when it comes to food, their is "spoilage" and when food spoils it gets its own status id... separating it from fresh food and half rotten food"
