I did some poking around and to get the right gender sounds for custom models you have to break open the code and add your model to the female list if applicable otherwise it defuets to male death sounds. However I am finding that it seems be ummm hit and miss I got a few custom models to work while others I seem to not have much luck with. I don't know my lua knowledge is very limited however but hope this helps.

go to steam folder-steamapps-common-GarrysMod-garrysmod-addons-brutal_deaths_928802859.gma and open in notepad++ to access code

i tried this and it doesn't work for any model now. where do i add the model to? what do i do?

I got in the Code with the.. Normal Notepad ..? and did some shish that I thought might work
But then every Addon File Turned into a Notepad With the Code Inside It, and because of that Gmod keeps on Freezing all the time when Checking the Addons, and I aint got a Brain to turn them all Back to a File. HELP.

ADD A WAY TO CHANGE WHAT THE MOD LISTS AS FEMALE MODELS AND MALE ONES

Open both .GMA files (playermodel and Brutal Deaths) in microsoft Notepad and look for your models name. COPY AND PASTE it under the female list in BD's .GMA and it should work after you restart the game, but It doesn't always.

Yeah, if it doen't work you'll know becuase GMod will stay on mounting workshop content until you restart your computer. (Yes this will happen lol)

oh yes select all of them and change their default opening app to hl2.exe or steam client bootstrapper I think it's one of those

This problem could be solved if developer will add command which allows you manually set death sounds
