why does the suit almost have an RNG specularity map?

sometime the suit is very dull and almost grey and white but other times it is a dark black and correctly colored with nice glossing,it seems to be 100% random aswell even in the screenshots for this mod the suit looks drastically different in the last 2 screenshots,you can very clearly see the color difference I'm referring to
