The way i've had this mod set up, just delete the "equipteslagun.vtf" and repackage it, that way the spartan laser has the tesla icon and the Mining laser (spartan laser) uses this mod's icon.

And if you don't like the looping "spartan laser sound" for tesla, just delete "loop.wav" and "stop.wav" in the folder root > sound > weapons > mininglaser2 .
