Mod isnt working

I recently got the mod because it looked awesome, but whenever I load in, its just the normal MP5 but I cant here it fire. Any help?

It works when you download the VPK, but over time playing it the model no longer appears, and at a level in the game (I forgot) the sound disappears entirely. Atleast with my time with the mod.
