My idea is:
Texas Chainsaw Modification
Level 1 - 100 Arm Piece
Pros:
+20% To Meat (vs Players)
+Metal fuels the chainsaw
Cons:
(ASSUMING ITS A WRENCH MODIFICATION)
-Cannot upgrade buildings ; Hitting your own building will chew away its HP ; Hitting other friendly buildings will do nothing
-Metal is required to use it
-15% Firing Speed

Feel free to add on to this if you want or change it

A large long slash instead of a single hit
+90% damage vs players

Second slot like the short circuit

  • 100 "ammo", uses 10 every second when active
  • +150% damage to buildings (sappers too)
  • longer reach (like the eyelander)
  • -15% explosive damage vulnerability when active

spychecking or anti pyro tool, or if shotgun is empty at close range

I like his idea but, mayde it should be able upgrade only 1 building and not none,
also another idea, maybe it could also be vampiric, like steels up to 20 health, and is hungry, mea-
ning it steals 1 health per second.

Animation just has engineer stick it out in front of him
Same rate of fire as minigun
Same damage as stock wrench
only adds 5 upgrade and repair to buildings per hit (the fact that the engineer is able upgrade or repair at all is crazy, but then again so is the rest of the tf2 world.)(at least you only use 5 metal per hit.)
cannot crit.
cannot use underwater or when jarate'd/mad milked.

Dude, I like this idea. That, it could just be a Skin for Haloween over the Southern Hospitality. I mean, Chain Saw.. Bleed Effect?

uses 2,3,2,3,2,3,2,3 (repeat) metal per swing while you have atleast 1 metal +450% swing speed +35% reach -50% damage while holding left click (and one second after) -15% move speed if you have less than 1 metal (as in none) -40% swing speed and base damage (you can also right click to swing like this even with metal for 20 metal use but with metal will deal +75% base damage however this time the chain will actually be reving instead of just whacking them with the chain) -25% repair speed cannot be buffed in any way on user (inculdes jarate uber any banner effects speed boost etc.)

Only half damage as stock wrench, but ramps up with consecutive hits.
Only adds 8 health/repair to buildings per hit, doesn't ramp up. Uses only 8 metal per hit.
cannot crit.

Taunt
Engineer 'Chops' his other hand off when he tries to do stock pistol taunt. He screams in pain, grasping his stump, before his real hand pops out. Chuckles a bit then ends the animation.

Stats

95% faster firing speed
No hit delay each click (like spy's knife)
Damage dealt is returned as metal
33% melee range

Requires metal
65% less damage
consumes 5 metal while active
25% less metal (150 metal)
im thinking on left click no fuel used and has a long cooldown right click would be you atual turning it on uses fuel less damage but same fire rate a minigun. upgrade build by waping it uses two metal but only upgades 1 out of 200
the census seems to be that this weapon will focus less on buildings and more on the engie himself, so I'll go off of that

Upsides
- +50 Hp
- 3, +30 damage hits from a primary deals 4 seconds of bleed
- 3 consecutive hits from a melee does 10 seconds of bleed
- 10% movement speed

Downsides
- No Teleporters
- Sentry gun replaced with a mini-sentry
-Mini sentry cost 130 metal
-Dispensers cost 130 metal

This would make it so that there's another way to play offensive engineer, one that focuses more on the engineer himself rather than his buildings.
You would be able to use it outside of Degroot Keep and It would be like a full auto melee for the Engineer like the chainsaw from the old Doom games. The hit reg would be a small cone like the Heavy's minigun or the Pyro's flamethrower that would damage a player inside that cone and it would have normal melee range. It would do constant damage(or healing)like the flamethrower or minigun because of its full auto gimmick.

Pros:
Would do 80 DPS if all your hits hit
Would give you 175 max HP
And it would make you as fast as a medic

Cons:
Will be very loud.(duh)
Cant build sentry guns.
Cant boost the build speed of buildings.
Cant upgrade buildings.
Can only heal 20 HP per second on buildings
Consumes 10 metal per second when out and when out of metal melee only does 20 damage.

I think this wold be a fun weapon to have in game. It would make a new kind Battle Engineer play style that can finally rival the Gunslinger and the few people who play Battle Engineer with the jag. Tell me what you think of this weapon idea, would you like to see it in game? I would love to have it. also......ITS A $%&#ING CHAINSAW.
