If other OP super tech items showed up it would ruin the fun of the difficulty and rarity of these event items.
So I recently started a game with this mod installed, when get a notification about a crashed ship landing about a day and a half away from my colony. So I sent out one of my guys, Steven, to explore it, and I find it full of tables, chairs, and a little silver. The things that really caught my eye were two multi-analysers and a ship engine. So I have Steven deconstruct it, and just as I'm about to leave, a tribal raid comes. Since there's a lot of wealth on the map, due to the ship engine's components, there's about 5 tribals vs. my one colonist. I think I'm screwed, when I see a notification saying thay're taking what they can and leaving. Re-joice! They're taking the ship engine's parts! I make Steven take the money and left over ship components, then get the hell out of dodge. On the way back, I have Steven trade at "Cowboy's Valley", then return home.
With this mod, my game is already twice as exciting :p
friendly trader in need:
a friendly trader contacts you: his caravan is in some trouble. what exactly it is, we don't know. maybe just one muffalo is hurt? maybe the caravan leader is sick? maybe they're being held hostage by raiders? but one thing is for sure: they'll reward you for your help, and hate you if you ignore them.
campfire in the distance:
some of your colonists spotted some smoke coming up form nearby. seems like someone has set up a short camp there. is this the sign of an incoming raid? or jsut a tiny forest fire? or a meteor impact which would grant us some ressources...
Animal Exodus:
some animals have gathered into a giant herd and decided to rest for a few days. it could be our chance to hunt or tame them. or jeremy could train his shooting skill by throwing molotovs at them.
(many of one kind of animal in a tile, for example, 200 chinchillas)
if you need more ideas, i'm sure i could come up with some brainstorming ideas^^
I just got it, send my colonists and when I arrived at the designated location I just found bunch of neutral NPCs walking mindlessly around a castle.
It actually does
Did that, all it had was a thing saying my negotiatior stared at a wall and gave me a negative 1 opinion modifier, anything else supposed to happen?
There are people? The only one I had trigger was deserted. The only thing worth taking was the plasteel and components from the engine, batteries, and doors.
Odd...
