I explored the map and read every notes it contain. This is a chronology of what I think is the story of Alps.
First of all, I think that the location of this valley is located in France, and so in the west of the Alps. For the following reason:
-Tiway is French, but that’s a minor argument.
-The Highway is called “A-16” And in France, Highways are called “A-[NUMBER]”. It means “Autoroute-16” Witch in English mean “Highway-16”
-In one of the 2 addons adding NPC’s And notes, there’s a object called “FR Alps Decal”
-Many players complained the Abundance of Fusilaut in military location. Or the Fusilaut is a French Rifle used by the French military, so that make sense.
-The military used in the map is the Russian one, or the Russian flag use the same color then the French one, this is why it’s common to see Russian soldier in French maps.
Anyway, here’s the chronology:
01/05/2017: A mysterious landside happened on the highway A-17, isolating the valley which is now supported only via planes. Mining starts in the collapsed tunnels.
02/05/2017: A strange stone is discovered in one of the tunnels, He is sent in to the secret lab.
03/05/2017: The army establish a outpost in the city, Giving rations to the citizens, helping the situation.
04/05/2017: A scientist asks to everyone to not touch the stone has he contain a strange power.
05/05/2017: The stone is broken. It may be the origin of the radiation and the infection. All problems start here, like a curse. Or maybe not.
06/05/2017: An incident happened in the secret military silo missile (marked has “the cave”), Radiation escape of the facility, making an important dead zone around the base, A radioactive cloud is trapped in the valley. These radiations may make the first tourist sick.
After 06/05/2017: The Zombie virus which is destroying the whole Europe from Russia found a way inside the valley (maybe via the stone),
07/05/2017: The first infected think their dieses are due to the irradiation and they come to the hospital. The Medics think it’s due to the radiation.
08/05/2017: the lake froze and so, the valley lost the electricity produced by the dam.
09/05/2017: The city hospital is full, infected start to die.
10/05/2017: The old wind park are activated to support the energy problem however, But this decision is contested.

11/05/2017: The hospital asks help to the Koridai laboratory to find a vaccine.
12/05/2017: The Koridai laboratory sends Vaccines to fight the irradiations. Unfortunaly, they are completely useless. The hospital try to contact the laboratory, No responds.
14/05/2017: The Secret scorpion-7 Laboratory (Unmarked location deep north of the map, in the mountain) Notice the real origin of the Disease isn’t the radiation but the Zombie Virus. The Laboratory keeps selling the false vaccine, Because MONEY.
15/05/2017: The hospital notice that the Laboratory is not responding.
(By the way, this secret laboratory farm blue berries.)
16/05/2017: The secret laboratory captures a zombie and start examinations on him.
17/05/2017: the Secret laboratories ask to all Scorpion-7 location in the valley to have few zombies specimen “for sake of efficiency” Indicating the situation is critical.
18/05/2017: The laboratory collapse under the zombies, Survivors took refuge in the last room.
19/05/2017: The hospital misses of gasmasks. Half of the population is now dead.
20/05/2017: The flight A850 B28 is send to the valley to evacuate people still here. Military help the population, Giving gasmasks and rations to everyone.
22/05/2017: The rescue can’t land due to the blizzard. Gasmasks reserves are low and the hospital can’t get enough.
23/05/2017: the hospital personnel notice the patients are sick due to the infection (finally) and not the radiation, Zombies break out the hospital.
The following day: The hospital collapse under the outbreak.
25/05/2017: The mulia control tower lost all contacts with A850 B28 (I gess they crashed somewhere in the map) the military despair as the zombie hordes grow like the radiations.
After 25/05/2017: The military base of mulia and the army in the region in general collapse, the city is out of control. Many survivors barricades themselves in the building, but only some survive in the south of the town.
